Julia Fiedorczuk

(b. 1975) is a writer, poet, and translator. She has won the most important poetry prize, the Wisława Szymborska Award (in 2018 for Psalms). She was also nominated for the Nike Award in 2016 for her novel Weightlessness, and the Wrocław Silesius Poetry Award. In 2005 she was given the Austrian Hubert Burda Award for her poetry, which was published in Manuskripte. She works at the University of Warsaw. She made her debut in 2000; since then she has published six volumes of poetry and four novels. She lives in Warsaw.
