Dominika Buczak

Dominika Buczak (b. 1975) is a writer
and journalist, the author Constitution
Square (2019) and The Girls from the Square
(2020), co-author of works of reportage
dealing with feminist and gender issues:
Gaydar (2008), Krakow of Women (2010)
and The Sex Man (2012). She has published
in Poland’s leading magazines, including
Wysokie Obcasy, Polityka and Zwierciadło.
She has been nominated for the Teresa
Torańska Award for her interview with
the mother of a transsexual person.
Her portrait of Maria Pinińska-Bereś
published in Wysokie Obcasy made it to
the final round of the Equal and More
Equal competition.
